Event Description:

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge:
During "The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge" your aim is to complete a 25 mile circuit of all three peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Whernisde and Ingleborough) with nearly 1,600 m (5,249 ft) of ascent and descent within 12 hours, starting and finishing at the same point. The event is fully guided by qualified mountain guides who will ensure your safety and give you the best chance of completing this challenge.

This event does involve a long distance walk (24.5 miles) and although the idea is to try and complete it within 12 hours we will be taking it at our own pace. Our aim is that everyone completes it safely. We will have two leaders so if you are slower than some of the group you will not be holding them up.
