In September 1665 the Plague arrived via a tailor form London as a result 260 of the 350 villagers were to die. But to prevent the spread the Vicar and Villagers self quarantined themselves and even Church services were suspended.

Join us for late Summer walk around the Chatsworth Estate and surrounding countryside. This gentle day walk will take in some of the stunning scenery and quaint dales to be found in this part of the White Peaks. The walk route will pass the Chatsworth House farm shop allowing you the perfect chance to have a shop for some great local food or enjoy a relaxing and refreshing cup or tea before we continue the walk.
