For our beginners and easy walks walking boots are advisable but by no means compulsory. As you start to attend harder walks on rougher terrain then a good pair of walking boots will be essential. We strongly recommend that you visit an outdoor pursuits shop such as Cotswolds who offer a boot fitting service. It is more important that the boots fits your foot well, rather than the style and overall cost.
