Easy & Beginners Day Walk Kit List:

Here at Large Outdoors we define an easy or beginners walk as any walk below 500m, where you are no further than 30 minutes from help, this would normally mean you are within a suburban environment walking along simple well trodden paths. For example a Canal path, woodland  or valley walk.

Although these kind of walks are not as risky as the more upland mountain walks, LargeOutdoors take safety very seriously and will insist that you have some of the basic kit to make the walk not only safe but more enjoyable for yourself and the rest of the group,  i.e. good boots to prevent sprained ankles or blisters.

As with all activities please pay attention to the weather forcast and remember that conditions at the event desitnation can be drastically different to the location you live in. If in any doubt contact the walk leader for further details.
