Take on the Ben...

The first recorded ascent of Ben Nevis, Britain’s loftiest mountain was made on 17th August 1771 by Edinburgh botanist James Robertson. From May through to September 2016, Large Outdoors is running guided Ben Nevis walking weekends, staying either in a hostel or hotel.

The hotel stays are based at in Ballachulish overlooking Loch Leven, a fine place to relax after successful walking to the summit of the 1343-metre high ‘Rugged Ben’.

Our Ben Nevis Challenge weekends include two nights accommodation, qualified walking guide, Large Outdoors host throughout the weekend, and all meals.
