Walking Holidays and Getaways on the Magical Isle of Skye
The Isle of Skye, the misty isle, the largest and most northerly of Scotland’s Inner Hebrides, is a place of huge contrasts. In one day you can be high on the dark rock of the Cuillin mountains, barely a plant in sight amidst the rock, the sheer walls of the surrounding peaks a vast airy reminder of the labyrinth of routes into these peaks. Then that afternoon you can be strolling on a sandy beach, dipping your feet in the warm water and watching for seals in the bay.
We run a variety of trips to Skye, from easier wanders to famous sights such as the Fairy Pools and The Old Man of Storr, to full days out in search of the challenging summits of the big mountains. Whether your preference is a low level route with plenty of time for photos and café visits, or you want to scale the greatest peaks, we have something for you. There are coastal walks, dinosaur footprints, towering sea-cliffs, wildlife encounters, boat trips, whisky sampling, and of course the usual fantastic Scottish hospitality, with some of the best seafood around.
