Guided walking breaks and weekends in the Northumberland National Park

Fascinating, awe-inspiring, beautiful…..there are not enough words to describe just how lovely the Northumberland National Park is for people who enjoy walking.

With Hadrian’s Wall and a number of Roman forts, great landscape, Gold Tier dark skies for star-gazing and a tranquil atmosphere, it’s easy to see why the area is so enticing.

Following last year’s successful weekends we’ve expanded the number of guided walking trips to Northumberland for 2016.

If you’re keen to combine some great walking with a night’s star-gazing under the expert guidance of those in the know at Kielder Observatory, then we have an ideal weekend lined up.

Alternatively if you’re itching to roam amongst the Roman remains, then there are several options for you to choose from, and it just so happens that our base for these weekends is also fantastic for a spot of star-gazing!

All this, and the standard Large Outdoors hospitality – namely a host that stays with you throughout the weekend and is on-hand to serve tasty morsels and three-course dinners for the hungry troops.
