It is really hard to describe walking in the Yorkshire Dales in just a couple of paragraphs given the huge variety of terrain that is on offer.
However think limestone pavements, rugged hills, pasture enclosed by those famous dry stone walls, streams wiggling their way down to lower ground, and bucolic Dales villages. Together with a slice of good old Yorkshire hospitality, including great tea shops and pubs, it all makes for an ideal location both for a weekend’s sociable walking and of course tackling the county’s three highest peaks.
For our weekend events we have options depending on whether you’re looking more for a riverside stroll or wanting to tackle the high stuff.
