If you fancy upping the stakes a little, or a lot, by taking on a more challenging walk whether in terms of distance or difficulty, then there’s a whole host of different events to choose from that will suit your own personal level of challenge.
For instance you can boost your hiking confidence by joining the guided day walks package in the Lake District . Alternatively if you’re looking for a biggie, then there’s the epic seven-day West Highland Way – a trail where over the years we’ve helped scores of people accomplish the 96-mile achievement.
In fact due to the popularity of some of the challenges such as the Yorkshire Three Peaks, we’ve also extended the range of longer distance day walks this year.
New for 2019 are the 24-mile Castle to Abbey along a stunning stretch of North York Moors National Park coastline and the Six Dales challenge in the Peak District covering 26 miles and 1000 metres of ascent.
