New Year’s Eve – Welcoming 2021!

It’s got to be a winner hasn’t it? Combining good company, scenic countryside walks peppered with the occasional pub visit, fab accommodation, lashings of great food and a bit of a party atmosphere must be the ingredients for a memorable (in a good way) New Year’s Eve break.

So with that in mind, we’ve lined up four options in different parts of the UK.

All trips include accommodation, guided day walks, breakfasts, packed lunches and most evening meals.

Lake District

The Lake District is an inspiring location to kick start the New Year, whether you’re making resolutions while enjoying a leisurely Lakeland stroll or quietly setting new goals while conquering one of the higher peaks.

For this break, we’re staying in an idyllic setting near Windermere where you can savour the views while enjoying being in the company of a great bunch of people. All this, and then we gear up for New Year’s Eve with a five course feast and raised glasses to cheer in 2021.

Shropshire

We think all our New Year’s eve trips are belters but this one might just pip the others in terms of accommodation as we’re staying in an Elizabethan mansion.

So with a bit of aristocratic living, some fine walking through Shropshire’s countryside and a party in the baronial dining hall on the 31st December, there’s a lot to like about this one.

Pembrokeshire

There’s something special about seeing in the New Year in a coastal spot which is why our Pembrokeshire trip is a firm favourite. Pwll Deri is a superb cliff top hostel offering grandstand views and spectacular walking that brings out the best level of camaraderie and fun in the group.

This all makes for a great way to slip into New Year – re-energised and ready for 2021.

North York Moors

For those who like to combine countryside walks with the chance to spend time in a market town popping into shops, cafes and pubs, then this one could be for you.

The lovely town of Helmsley is our base offering a myriad walking options – from easy strolls to Rievaulx Abbey, tougher moorland yomps and sandy beach saunters at the coast.

With a New Year’s Eve party where we pull out all the stops to create a celebratory feast, let the fun begin.
