Great walking. Great coastline. Great food.
This pretty much sums up what Whitby and the surrounding areas on the North Yorkshire coast have to offer. This is why we’ve lined up a series of guided walking weekends and short breaks that enable you to explore this fantastic spot.
While a core focus of the breaks is the walking – whether it’s following routes along stunning headlands, discovering hidden smugglers’ coves or strolling across beaches – we also build in plenty of time for other exploring.
- Exploring Whitby Abbey’s Gothic splendour.
- Paddle boarding, sea kayaking or surfing.
- Having a gander at the bird life spectacle at Bempton Cliffs near Bridlington.
Savouring the foodie offerings – whether it’s the Magpie Cafe’s famous fish and chips, smoked kippers from Fortunes Kippers or one of the myriad great cakes served in the tea shops that help make the North York Moors the UK’s Capital of Cake!
Check out some of the great weekends and short breaks we are running along the Yorkshire Coast..
