Welcome to Large Outdoors!

We are a friendly nationwide outdoor pursuits and social group. We offer people the chance to socialise and meet new people whilst trying out a new sport, or participating in an activity that you already enjoy!

We are NOT a membership club you simply register, pay for and then enjoy the event with us. The majority of people come on their own, meaning Large Outdoors is a great way for you to meet new friends... and discover the UK...

Who can attend?
Our events are open to anyone over the age of 18 and you DO NOT need to become a member you can simply sign up to as many or as few events as you please!  

We do offer a “Loyalty Pass” so our regulars can enjoy discounts not only with us, but with an increasing number and variety of other organisations. 

Our events fall into three broad categories;

• Club events open to all over 18.
• Open challenges take part for yourself, or do them as a fundraiser for the charity of your choice.
• Charity Fundraisers (In aid of...) organised by us on behalf of a charity, by taking part you pledge to raise money for that particular charity.  

We can organise an event for you, you and your work colleagues, a team, or your charity.  If you would like us to organise an event for you then have a look at out Bespoke Events page or contact our office.

What Activities do we run?
An increasing list of activities include, walking, mountain biking, camping, diving, surfing, kayaking, climbing, weekends away, coasteering, club socials and international adventure trips.  We try to offer these activities at all levels from complete beginners to the more advanced!  Each of our events are rated on the site to help you make an informed decision, 'Is it the event for you?'
