Knoydart Walking Adventures

Detox and walk in the wilds of Knoydart, with these car free mini adventures.

We’re big fans of Scotland but one area where we love to linger longer is the Knoydart Peninsula. Why? In a nutshell it’s the wildness of the place (you can only get to Knoydart by boat or on-foot with a multi-day hike). 

Even though the ferry trip only takes 45 minutes from Mallaig, as soon as you step onto the peninsula’s jetty you can feel the wildness beyond the string of white houses making up the hamlet of Inverie. 

Wifi and mobile reception can be sketchy at best so Knoydart is a perfect excuse for a digital detox, freeing you up to just absorb the fantastic landscape, beaches and wildlife as well enjoy some great walking.  

To that end we have several Knoydart trips depending on the level of walking challenge and how feral you want to be!
