What a corker of a walking weekend had out exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Pwll Deri YHA is a firm favourite in the Large Outdoors schedule with regular weekends and New Year’s Eve being spent there. From the moment you walk in the views are just stunning.
Friday night saw 21 intrepid walkers arrive, there might have been a slight gale blowing but thank fully this calmed down for the Saturday morning. Today we all headed north from the hostel and followed the coastal path up to and then past Strumble head lighthouse. The sun was out the wind had died down offering perfect walking weather and a whole array of wildlife from seals to seabirds.
On Sunday morning we headed south from the hostel to further explore the amazing Pembrokeshire coastal path. .
