Large Outdoors – Referral Thank-You Terms
The Large Outdoors referral thank-you scheme is a simple way to reward customers who recommend our trips to friends. These terms explain how it works.
Who can take part
The scheme is offered to people who have attended a Large Outdoors weekend or walking holiday and have been sent a personal referral code by us.
Codes are issued directly by Large Outdoors to previous attendees and are not available publicly.
How referrals work
When a new customer books a trip and uses a valid referral code at the time of booking, they receive £25 off their first booking.
This £25 discount is applied only if the code is entered during the booking process. It cannot be added after the booking has been completed.
Once the new customer’s booking is confirmed and paid, the owner of the referral code (the referrer) receives £25 referral credit.
Referral credit is recorded against the referrer’s name and voucher code and can be used as part payment towards a future booking with Large Outdoors.
Referral codes
Each eligible customer is issued one personal referral code.
Codes are issued now to previous attendees as part of this referral thank-you scheme.
Codes are intended for friends, family and personal contacts of the referrer and are for new customers only.
Referral codes must be entered at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively.
Referral codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotional offers, or voucher codes.
Codes must not be shared on voucher, discount or deal websites, or used for commercial purposes.
Referral credit
For each successful referral, the referrer earns £25 referral credit.
Referral credit can be accumulated, with no upper limit on the total that can be earned.
Referral credit can be used towards 2026 Large Outdoors trips, subject to the booking deadlines stated in the referral email you receive.
Unless stated otherwise, referral credit must be redeemed by making a booking before 31 May 2026. Trips can take place at any time during 2026.
Referral credit has no cash value, is non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another person.
Referral credit cannot be applied to bookings that have already been made.
Exclusions and limitations
Large Outdoors reserves the right to refuse or remove a referral where misuse is suspected, including self-referrals or use on existing customer accounts.
Referral codes cannot be combined with other promotional codes, loyalty discounts or special offers unless we explicitly state otherwise.
Large Outdoors may update or withdraw the referral scheme at any time. Any changes will not affect referral credit that has already been earned and confirmed.
