Discover Our New Trip Calendar – Now Easier to Use and Packed With Helpful Search Tools

Our Trip Calendar has been fully rebuilt to make finding your next walking weekend or holiday simpler, clearer, and far more intuitive. The previous version offered only basic browsing, but the new layout introduces proper filters for dates, trip types, locations, room options, walking levels, prices, and more. Whether you’re planning a short break, a scenic walking holiday, a car-free adventure, or a sociable midweek getaway, the updated calendar makes it easy to explore the full range of trips offered by Large Outdoors.

Our Trip Calendar has had a major upgrade. The old version did the job, but it didn’t give you many ways to narrow things down. Finding the right weekend or holiday sometimes meant scrolling through page after page to spot the dates, locations, or trip styles you wanted.

The new Trip Calendar fixes all of that. It’s clearer, faster to use, and makes it much easier to find the kind of walking break you’re after. Whether you’re searching on a laptop or a mobile, you now have proper filtering tools to help you get straight to the trips that match your interests.

On desktop, the filters sit neatly at the top.

On mobile, they appear behind a small filter icon, making the layout clean but still simple to navigate.

Below is a guide to each filter section and what it helps you find.
