Gallery: Manorbier Castle and Coastal Path Walk
Our final walk took us to Manorbier, famed for its dramatic Manorbier Castle, a Norman fortress that dates back to the 12th century and offers sweeping views over the rugged coastline. Although the day began with a grey drizzle, it quickly lifted, allowing us to appreciate the history and scenic beauty of this shorter route along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. After a leg-stretching coastal stroll, we enjoyed a well-deserved stop at the castle tearoom, where Welsh cakes and hot brews rounded off the morning. Despite the weather, this outing brought us all together to share in a true taste of Pembrokeshire’s rich heritage and landscape.
